The Northeast Region has the largest swings in temperature and humidity, going from long cold heating
seasons to humid tropical like summers. It is unrealistic to think all hardwood floors will perform
throughout these changes. Acclimation periods vary from season to season. If your wood is acclimated
to the dry heating season it is more likely to cup in the humid months. Being acclimated to the humid
summer season you can expect large spaces between boards in the dry heating season. We strongly
